Well it has been a really busy week for me and my family photography. For one I have been creating a new office space, which apart from a few finishing touches is all up and running. It’s great, light colours, new desk (a mixture of B&Q for the desk top and Ebay for the legs) and proper overhead lighting all make a more comfortable area for all my editing and blog writing. On top of that I have had a lot of new bookings through which means a reason for more time spent editing in the new office.
The bookings have been great, a mixture of different photography services. Not only have I had more family sessions booked there is also a wedding, christening and another group cake smash coming up amongst other things. So plenty of blog posts to look forward to.
I am quite excited about this and I have to admit a bit nervous as well. This is a new thing for me and I have not photographed a wedding before. The couple have been great about it. I explained before they had even booked that I had not done any wedding photography before and they are looking forward to my documentary style photography being used, as they didn’t particularly want all of the set photography that you find with some wedding photographers.
The venue is also BISHAM ABBEY NATIONAL SPORTS CENTRE which has some fantastic grounds for us to explore.
This is really exciting for me as christening photography is still rather new to me as it is a new service that I have started doing (comes under EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY). The christening will be at ST LAWRENCE CHURCH in West Wycombe, Buckinghmshire. If you have ever been to West Wycombe I think you will have noticed it. It’s the one with the Golden Ball.
Group Cake Smash
Now this will be fun, hard work but fun. I have arranged one of these before and it was great. Think cake smash times seven all in the space of a couple of hours. The last one I did was for an NCT group in Penn, Nr Beaconsfield. We had a great time taking the individual cake smash photographs before putting them all together for a few final shots. I am really looking forward to seeing how these come out.
On top of all that I have had more family photography sessions booked right the way up to Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas (if I can get away with it in September) photography does get busier the closer we get to Christmas. If you are thinking of having a session before Christmas I would recommend booking early to ensure you get the date that you want. Click here to CONTACT ME and reserve the date that you want.
Okay so I think that is enough from me. I really should be catching up on some editing.
As always I would love to read your comments so please feel free to leave them below.
